Production Workflow
Teambase is an open system that integrates a suite of off-the-shelf applications with publishing-oriented business rules and workflow automation tools. Teambase tracks deadlines, assignments, organizes tasks, version changes to assets, and automates repetitive functions.

Our software's workflow capability is extensive. Hot folders inside and outside of the system — can be automatically monitored. Multi-step automation plans can be automatically attached to any document or package in Teambase. A user simply advances and moves forward against its plan, updating appropriate database fields, messaging appropriate users, updating metadata, sending files, requiring user dialog inputs and comparing the site's due date-time to the current date-time for deadline notifications.

Teambase is fully scriptable, a plan can also launch a Teambase script to invoke any other Teambase function. The data retained by plans can be used to produce reports.

You can also use the Teambase Web client to access your database through the Internet via the Mac or PC. No client software is required to view directories and metadata, execute searches and queries, check in, check out, import and export files, or update metadata. Permissions for these functions are established by the Teambase Administrator Tool, and match those granted in the local environment.

Web Publishing
With Teambase, the web is a full partner in your publishing workflow, whether you co-purpose what you print or publish directly online. Now you can concentrate on content, while all XML, HTML, co-purposing and archiving takes care of itself.
